A returning client sought our help in the complete remodel of a 1957 ranch house in Oakland, CA. The kitchen was opened up to capture views of the San Francisco Bay. A fireplace dividing the dining and living rooms was re-clad in ledge stone, complementing a custom designed dining table, vintage Scandinavian chairs, and sculptural lighting. In collaboration with the client, an interplay between wood, stone, and muted color palettes was used to create a clean, contemporary space for dining and entertaining.
